“Your calls, e-mails & tweets made a difference!”

You did it!  A few short hours ago, Representative Justin Amash (R-MI) tweeted that HR 5 had been “… pulled from consideration.”  Thank You to everyone who took the time to call, e-mail, and/or tweet (or did all three) to contact your elected representative on Capitol Hill to voice your concerns and opposition to HR 5.  I recall seeing a comment claiming, “There’s nothing we can do to make a difference.”

Guess what?  It was not the defeatists who turned the tide and convinced their representatives to put the brakes on Speaker Boehner’s efforts to push this bill to a vote today.

Remember that.  Your calls, e-mails, tweets, and letters make a difference – A HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Lisa Jackson noted in her blog post that HR 5 is not dead, and Congress will most likely be looking at it again this week. We need to keep the pressure on Congress to VOTE NO on HR 5. ( https://lisajacksondesign.wordpress.com/2015/02/27/hr-5-2015-u-s-house-defeated-22715/ )

Ken, Net Neutrality is definitely something that must be overturned. Another reason to call Congress and demand push back on the president’s agenda to “fundamentally transform” America.
